Overview

Owned and led end-to-end product strategy and design for Version 2 of SQSHBook, a community database of over 1,200 local LGBTQIA+-centered resources. Conducted and analyzed research, enabling data-driven feature prioritization. Created UI designs and interactive prototypes built on a foundation of accessibility.

  • Successfully transformed MVP into more robust Version 2

  • Led 2 focus groups with over 15 stakeholders to drive alignment on priorities

  • Designed V2 features that increased user satisfaction (based on usability testing with 12 users)
    ○ Increased Net Promoter Score by 799%
    ○ 40% more users said V2 was helpful
    ○ 71% more users said V2 was easy to use

  • Enhanced search functionality resulting in 133% increased task completion, 21% reduction in time on task, and 44% reduction in critical errors

  • Streamlined a cumbersome manual process of adding user reviews, achieving 100% task completion and 83% of users avoiding critical errors
